Meeting Topics
- Bake packing
- Generally looks quite close.
- It would be good to have the “Pack” button grayed out even when there is no bake. The button looks a bit like it’s floating.
- The “Pack 251 Files” message could be improved to say the number of bakes later.
- Bake target inheritance per node group would be helpful too, but that can also be done later.
- Should bake buttons be on the simulation output node?
- No consensus yet. It would be helpful to show new users that baking simulations is possible. But it doesn’t always make sense to bake simulations.
- Node warnings
- At some point we should add access to the modifier error message strings from Python.
- The pass-through makes sure the warning doesn’t show up when it’s meant for unused parts of a node group. This works well for the switch node but less well for the index/menu switches where users need to add another switch node.
- The header color should be black like the group input/output nodes.
- Asset embedding
- Just demonstrated the current behavior of the patch.
- Should look into why Alembic Import/Export does not support attributes yet
