Request to platform maintainers: FFTW with threading (
--with-threads
)- Use TBB via the FFTW callback API (https://www.fftw.org/fftw3_doc/Usage-of-Multi_002dthreaded-FFTW.html)
- Plan creation is not thread-safe. There is a call in FFTW to guard all non-thread-safe calls with a mutex. Need to double-check for the possible performance impacts, but overall we do need to ensure it is stable.

Habib looks into improving gizmos behavior. For now more of experiments, may or might not end up in an official patch.

This is a fortnightly video chat meeting for planning and discussion of VFX & Video in Blender. Any contributor (developer, UI/UX designer, writer, …) working on these areas in Blender is welcome to join and add proposed items to the agenda.
