Since the Last Meeting
- Sean continued work on some of the line/poly hide and trim operators
- The float/fast solver is exposed for the trim tools.
- Sergey continues working to finish up the GPU compositor before switching to the sculpt project.
- Raul has been prototyping performance improvements to the expand geodesic distances calculation. The results are great so far, but needs to be cleaned up, etc.
Meeting Topics
- We looked over the “In Review” column of the workboard and caught up of the state of each PR. Nothing much to report from that though.
- There was some discussion about whether various performance improvements should be in a single PR or multiple. Consensus is: keep changes small, multiple PRs is better.
- Sean has a prototype of a tool for growing and shrinking mesh visibility. It needs to be implemented for multires and dynamic topology though.
