Why do volumetric fires look better in Workbench?

I don’t understand how the volumetric ones lose so much when viewing them in Eevee if supposedly in the background Workbench is a simplified version of Eevee.
Even without calculating the volumetric lights in Eevee, it continues to look worse.

This is because workbench only consider this volume object but EEVEE have to consider the whole scene as a whole for volumetric interaction (i.e: 2 volume object intersecting).
In EEVEE, if you tighten the near and far distances and increase volume samples you should have better results.

Thanks for the reply.
I worry that Eevee was not using some obtimization, but if you are aware of it, surely there is nothing to do.
I will try to play with the distances.
