I would like to know the progress or plans for the shader pynode API (https://developer.blender.org/D2577).
It’s yet planned to Blender 2.8? We could use this to expand eevee nodes with custom ones?
It’s not currently being worked on or planned to be part of the first Blender 2.80 release. It might be in one of the later releases, there is no concrete plan for it.
