First Blender 2.83 and 2.90 downloaded from Blender works as expected. After compiling and running blender with --debug-cycles I get this error:
OptiX initialization failed because driver does not support ABI version 36
This is on both Debian and Ubuntu linux.
Any ideas?
I should mention that Blender starts OK and I have CUDA just no Optix.
My bad sorry. I was compiling with Optix 7.1 and rquires driver version 450. I have version 440. I found Optix 7.0 on the download page (at the very bottom) and used it and now everything is working fine!
