I’ve been looking for ways to have a newly created object inserted into an existing hierarchy with different transforms at each level, and have all these transforms applied to the objet.
Problem: currently, the object is inserted “as is” in the hierarchy, so I need to reset all the transforms, insert the object, and then redo the transforms. In a complex structure hierarchy, this seems impossible to get the result I’m looking for.
Possible solution: unless a solution to this already exists, would it be possible to introduce a parenting option (e.g. “Apply tranforms to child” or something) to be able to do that?
