Why does the mesh translated to the negative z axis ?
and shouldn’t it be displayed as texture and not as wire ? ( EDIT : because it’s the actual domain … is it not possible to seperate the generated mesh from the domain ? )
Has been posted on blenderartist Mantaflow thread as well, overthere and in one of the bug reports a workaround for above was mentioned. in short have domain origin at world origin, then in edit mode move your domain and resize etc, next bake it, before playing it, go to a frame beyond the bake time and from there set domain object origin to center of mass, then play your animation. something is done wrong but those steps should be easy to code and automate i assume
I hope it’s alright to post this here, but @sebbas how can I report random errors with Mantaflow liquids in the 2.82 release…?
I’m having crashes randomly when changing any value in the settings. Sometimes it crashes when typing a different resolution, sometimes the crash occurs when changing other values (FLIP Ratio, Particle Radius, CFL Number, Timesteps, etc), or it crashes when hitting the Fluid or Mesh checkbox…
I don’t know how to report that because it is always a different setting which triggers the crash; the only consistent thing is that it happens when trying to do a liquid simulation.
