I would like to save a few settings for the File Browser but it seems impossible (to my knowledge).
If the File Browser editor is docked in the UI of one of the workspaces, then it saves normally like any other editor in the start up file, but when I open the File Browser in a floating window (for example when looking to open a file) it reverts to the settings by default.
Below are the things I would like to set up so it always stays that way:
- Designate the bookmark I want to see first when I open the file browser (by default it’s always “Documents”)
- Sort by type
- Unfilter the files
Is there a way to save these settings in the start up file?
