After checking ur renderings in first message, If u do a 1.5 minute render with path guiding its quality almost will look identical to ur 5 minute render without path guiding, (according to ur render results so it can be a nice way to show quality versus time even though noise pattern is different, the color and clarity can be compared easily in that.
