Please, help me. Today I build Blender on Ubuntu and I get 2.90! How to build exactly 2.83? This situation new for me… Previously building brings me latest beta not alfa of the next version.

but it would be awesome to see there how to build exact version
Check out the appropriate branch and build again:
git checkout blender-v2.83-release
make update
make

git branch -r
