Exiting local view should not modify view angle and location

PROBLEM

Currently, any time you exit local view, the view angle is reverted to one prior to entering local view. Blender is the only 3D app with the concept of local/isolated view that works in this way, and pretty much every time, this does a lot more harm than good. When you exit local view and your view randomly jumps to a different, unexpected angle, it just results in confusion. It is never of actual help.

SOLUTION
Exiting local view should not change viewport camera location and orientation.

You can change that easily in keymap settings, search “local view” and uncheck “frame selected”:

Yes, I’ve just now noticed it and filed a bug report:

toggle local view switches the perpective perspective is still a Problem in complex scence.
–> unchecking frame selected does not solve the issue.
