Change colour of first selected vertice

There is no possiblity to change the colour of the verry first selected vertex /edge .
Let me eloborate , I love to work with white edges and vertices and these can easly be changed in the theme preferences ( wire edit , and vertice colour )
For selected vertices and edges etc… I choose the red colour , also easily changeable >
The problem is that when a single vertice is selected , it still has the white colour ( user specified )

That is the ‘active’ vertex. You can change it to whatever you like in the theme preferences:
