To clarify, the badges are meant to be a common language for schools and educators to use to build their own curriculum. It’s not a learning platform on its own, but we are looking in developing tutorials for each badge which could then be put in a specific learning order.
The Blender Badges is a Reference Framework, not a curriculum. Schools/teachers decide the curriculum.
As described in the post, schools/teachers have different opinions about this. The reference framework is there as a shared standard which allows comparing the different curriculums.

In that case, I do think the idea of a ‘Fundamentals’ badge is worth considering, it could include some of the things I mentioned re: workflows, but also more general 3D concepts and vocabulary as a foundation for someone whose introduction to working with CG could come from these badges.

More general/fundamental badges have been identified. We didn’t have the time to work on those. So if someone wants to pick this up, yes please(!).
