This goes a bit beyond common sense. On one hand the color have ben removed and its unchangeable from the Add menu, a place where they stay hidden most of the time and it wouldnt bother too much for anyone and this is unchangeable. On the other hand, on the forefront main UI which is visible all the time whoch is Properties Tabs we are still left without an option for the non use of color for those icons. The colors can only be set by data types which meant this will removed colours from the outliner icons which is outragious because this IMO is the only actual place where should be colored icons by default.
Add menu icons are now noncolored while the Properties tab still lacks and option for noncolor icons
