Subject: Sections

Topic Discussion - Decision Action
Edouard (Berlin) will collaborate with Ricardo (Lisbon) on a ArchViz course using Blender and Unreal. Discussed how this course can add to the Blender Edu Badges project. This collaboration project will also test the use of the Blender Edu Badges Keep us informed.
Professional badges Term Professional is confusing. Need a new one. For the time being we use Advanced. Advanced levels are meant to teach more advanced stuff. A follow up on the foundation. Discussed whether interaction with other tools (like Godot or Unreal) should be part of the advanced levels. This will bring additional challenges as we need to keep up to date with all those other tools as well. For the time being, the focus will be on Blender. Discussed Modeling advanced levels. It is a challenge to determine what should be considered fundamental knowledge and what advanced. This also depends on the audience Federico and Lukas will start on the Modeling Advanced levels
Theory or Brainy badges Discussed having Theory or Brainy badges. These modules can add value however there is also the pitfall that one can end up writing a book on a specific theory. The focus is Blender and should remain Blender. We can have Theory or Brainy badges but don’t make it extensive. Focus should be on Blender. Refer to other resources like a book.
Grease Pencil badges Raoul presented his levels. Add feedback. Raoul will adjust.
VSE badges Andrea is still working on it.
Project repo Andrea added a workflow section to the project wiki and an issue tracker Request to add your todos to the tracker
Put changes live Review pull request from Andrea and push changes live

In my opinion such things don’t belong into advanced, like you proposed but for another reason: Interoperability, which basically is a topic of it’s own as each software has its own worklfows and pitfalls. What could be covered in advanced section however, is how to get models out of blender (e.g. via the gltf pipeline).
