but for the moment if you want it to work well also on linux, you have to start blender with
./blender --debug-gpu-force-workarounds
for those on some GPUs Radeon HD has problems with shadows and lights in eevee
must start blender with
R600_DEBUG=nosb ./blender --debug-gpu-force-workarounds
